Design

We can supply a digital proof of your job; however we cannot supply a physical copy. In order to have a physical copy we suggest placing an order of 1 or 2 prints of your job. This could be useful for high value orders.

We can accept any file size, but we struggle to receive file sizes over 20MB by email. Please call us to arrange an alternative method of sending if your enclosure exceeds this size. All files need to be high resolution.
1. All objects within the PDF to be CMYK colour space. 2. Acrobat 1.3 compatible 3. 3mm bleed with crop marks on all files Bleed is the overlap of work extending beyond the trim/crop marks that can be lost in the print process to ensure no white edges to the finished product. Crop marks are crossed lines placed at the corners of an image or a page to indicate where to trim. 4. All fonts embedded
We advise that you always supply your job with bleed where possible. If you supply artwork without bleed then we will trim 1mm in from each edge of the page. We advise that you allow for 3mm of bleed when creating your artwork.
If you have multiple types of the same document, e.g. business cards where you have 5 names and want 250 of each, then these must be treated as 5 separate items in your order.
Please try to avoid using thin borders and very thin fonts when creating your design. Gold, Silver and metallic shades are always difficult to match.

Delivery

You can expect your delivery to arrive in 4-8 working days from sign off, depending on the product and quantity. Standard delivery costs are £8.00; for deliveries weighing up to 8kg. UK delivery only.
As standard, we only deliver Monday to Friday. If you require a Saturday delivery, or a timed delivery please contact us on 01303 813026. We can't deliver on a Sunday or Bank Holiday.

Cancellation

If you have registered an account with us, your order can be cancelled up to 3 hours after placing the order, without charge. If you do not have an account, you can still cancel your order in the 3 hour time period but a £10 administration fee will be charged. You can cancel your order by phone on 01303 813026 and quoting your order ref number.

Paper size

Paper weight

Our paper weights vary from 120gsm to 350gsm. 120gsm paper has the feel of a magazine. 350gsm paper feels like a business card or unlaminated menu. Menus are normally printed on 350gsm. Our posters are normally printed on 170gsm.

Paper type

Silk – is our standard paper, this could be suitable for leaflets, take away menus, give away menus, vouchers and small posters. Matt – superb for children’s placemats/colouring in packs, less of a shine. Gloss – with a shinier finish, great for posters.

Print finish

We can supply the product as plain paper, for a more protected stylish finish we can; • Matt Laminate (from 250gsm paper +) - our standard finish, not too shiny, east to read, wipe clean • Gloss laminate (from 250gsm paper +) For an even tougher more durable finish we can encapsulate; great for children’s menus or outdoor use products. Encapsulation is plastic film which is applied to both sides of the entire printed sheet to protect and enhance the print. Encapsulation is easily identified as there is usually a clear plastic edge of 2-5mm around the printed product (this has an added benefit of sealing in the printed item.) Please note we cannot encapsulate the 280mm x 297mm fold to 280mm x 140mm menu size. It is always advisable to try and choose a light colour when menus are to be encapsulated as dark colours and black will not adhere as well because of the amount of ink required.
